Alan made bacon butties for breakfast and when their friend Jill arrived we all went for a walk to the beach and then on to the foreshore for lunch on the seafront. Warm and sunny and good food, fab! Walked out onto the pier and lots of guys fishing and catching large salmon, very fruity language from most of the fishermen (Alan felt it was too much for my delicate ears!) so we left to go back to the house!
Anita and Rob from across the road came for a visit and we all had a good yarn and plenty of alcohol (nothing changes!) and a good old English cheese and onion toastie appeared (courtesy Jon and Alan) and then we had to go to bed - jet lag still a problem!
